Today in interior design we took time to look at a bunch of interior design blogs . Interior designers use blogs to get your point of view and style across to the public. Design milk was one of my top three favorites. It was very modern and colorful.They were the winner of A' design award in 2013.The next one i visited was Houzz. This website had many different styles of many types of rooms and designs and color schemes.They gave great tips on how to make a room stick out or add more color of how to bring different vibes into the room.The last blog i visited was high fashion home this had many different layouts and styles based on your location and your colors. It had advice on how to make your space more unique.I would have to say my favorite blog was houzz i like the designs they used in all the different style homes and it was very my style. Two cool trends i saw when looking at the blogs were, mixing patterns with pillows and blankets and curtains another cool trend was blue and yellow to give the room a calmer feel.

Mood board

This week in interior design we learned about a mood board. A mood is used a inspiration board it is an easy way to display you taste and idea for a room. Interior designers use mood boards to display their vision of a room to the client. On my HGTV quiz it said my style was romantic.Meaning elegant and relaxing appeals to the senses and creates a warm inviting feeling.I think my style is more modern,i like very simple furniture with lots of color in the decor. The total of my room was 10,809.93. In conclusion mood boards are an easy way to show your personal style to others. And are very helpful in an interior design career.
